As the owner of Legacy Logistics, Ernie is passionate about providing the best possible service in the trade show industry by focusing on the customer’s needs, providing a rewarding environment for Legacy employees, and offering an unmatched service that goes above and beyond the competition. Ernie has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry, and he excels at managing and leading a growing business. In his former careers, he was a highly recognized leader in sales at two Fortune 500 companies. Over that time, he received multiple awards and honors at both companies. Ernie has many interests including hunting, fishing, and golf. He enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

Operations Assistant

Jamye joined Legacy Logistics in 2017 as an Operations Assistant. Prior to joining the team, she gained over 7 years of experience working in the logistics and transportation industry. In her role at Legacy, Jayme is responsible for tracking shipments and ensuring materials arrive to the correct destination on time. Jayme is a hard worker and always protects the interests of Legacy clients. Outside of work, Jayme enjoys spending time with her family and camping.

Sam graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing & Management, and immediately started her career in Logistics. She was instantly intrigued by the industry and all it has to offer and has been hooked ever since! As a Senior Client Service Representative, Sam takes extreme pride in her work and makes her clients lives easier by utilizing her wide array of skills. These skills have enabled her to become a vital extension of her customers’ trade show operation. Outside of work, Sam enjoys traveling, hiking, going to the park, and anything she can do to spend quality time with her family, friends and pets. While at home, she loves to cook and eat all kinds of foods. She enjoys being a new mom to her son Cooper and excited about their new addition coming in July!

Ian Blessing

Ian Blessing has been with Legacy Logistics since 2016. He started his career as an Operations Associate and was responsible for the day-to-day tracking and tracing of all shipments. Recently, he transitioned to a Client Services Specialist and is excited to be work on a more direct basis with Legacy’s clients. His experience in operations allows him to better serve the needs of his clients. Ian graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and traveling to different locations. Ian is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing and watching his favorite teams, particularly the Oakland Raiders.

Peter Gehringer

Warehouse Manager and Operations Coordinator

Peter Gehringer joined Legacy Logistics in 2018 as the Warehouse Manager and Operations Coordinator.  He has over 10 years of experience in the logistics industry and has a background in customer service and dispatching.  Peter’s attention to detail and level of organization has made him an asset to the Legacy operations team.  Outside of work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar in a band, and working on his race car.  

Scott Willoughby

Scott joined Legacy Logistics in 2019 as an Operations Assistant. He came to Legacy with over 20 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry. He also served in the Airforce for 4 years at the Plattsburgh Airforce Base in New York. His experience, communication skills and passion for learning makes him an asset to the Legacy team. Outside of work, Scott likes watching his son play goalkeeper for his club and high school soccer teams. He also enjoys watching his daughter Irish dance. Scott likes traveling and some of his favorite destinations include Manual Antonio, Costa Rica, Chatham (Cape Cod), MA and San Diego, CA.

Matthew Melcher

Matthew Melcher joined Legacy Logistics team in 2019 as an Operations Assistant. He is responsible for tracking shipments and ensuring materials arrive at the correct destination on time. Matthew is a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He also worked as a private military contractor overseas for several years and, most recently handled the logistics for an agricultural supply company.  His experience, communication skills, and understanding of teamwork make him an asset to the Legacy team.

Dave leads the business development efforts for Legacy Logistics. He is a 30+ year veteran of the transportation and logistics industry with a background in business development, operations and domestic and international shipments. His previous experience has provided him with extensive knowledge in recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching and leading people. Dave is passionate about earning the respect and trust of customers while motivating and inspiring his team. Outside of work David enjoys spending time with his family and visiting the mountains and rivers of the mid-Atlantic region.

Renee Langdon

Renee Langdon joined Legacy Logistics in 2017 as a Marketing Manager. She is responsible for managing the overall marketing efforts of the company. Prior to joining Legacy, she worked for a large telecommunications company for over 10 years and served as a Project Manager and then as a Marketing Coordinator. Renee graduated from Villanova University and went on to earn her MBA from the Haub School of Business at St. Joseph’s University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has many interests including coaching basketball and cross-country, running and traveling.

Kim Mitchell

Kim came to Legacy Logistics in the summer of 2014. Just like her team member, Sandy Maples, Kim just isn’t a member of the team – she’s a former client! Kim has over 20 years’ experience in transportation. She not only has experience dealing with individual organizations who exhibit at shows, but she also has expertise in running logistics as a show carrier for small- to mid-size decorators. Kim has displayed a passion for what she does and a strong desire to succeed for her clients. She is determined to provide the ultimate trade show experience for her customers. When Kim is not working, she lives in Orlando, FL and makes trips to Tennessee on weekends to see her grandchildren. When not traveling to see them, you can find her at Disney World purchasing gifts for them!

Mark joined Legacy as a Sales Representative in 2018, bringing with him a background in sales, marketing and exhibiting.  Mark’s background has created an edge in his ability to understand what is important to trade show exhibitors.   He is always looking out for the best interests of his clients.    His experience and drive for success has made him a perfect fit for the Legacy team. Mark is a graduate of Kutztown University and holds degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Service.  Outside of work, he enjoys sailing, fishing, golfing, traveling, and spending time with his 4-year-old daughter and their puppy.

Jack Miller

Jack Miller joined Legacy Logistics in 2019 as a Marketing Intern. He is a senior in high school and will be attending Shippensburg University next fall to obtain a degree in marketing.  Jack is responsible for the company’s social media efforts, updating the website and collateral material, and assisting with the company’s overall marketing efforts.  Outside of work, he enjoys being a part of his track & field team during the winter and spring seasons.  He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Jessica Johnson has been with Legacy Logistics for over 11 years. As a Senior Client Services Supervisor, Jessica is responsible for the training and coaching of her team. Jessica works directly with a number of Legacy’s larger accounts to manage their daily scheduling and quotation needs. She also assists in answering any questions that arise during those processes. Jessica’s favorite part of her job is successfully attacking any “puzzle” for the benefit of her clients, including tight transit times between shows, warehouse vs. show site issues, meeting targeted dates for shipments and following decorator rules and regulations. When not immersed in the trade show world, Jessica spends her time following her children from one color guard competition to another – Go Bulldogs!

Diane has been with Legacy Logistics for several years and has over 30 years of experience in customer service, sales and management. Prior to joining Legacy, she gained over 10 years of experience in trade show transportation working at Roadway and then YRC. During her career, Diane also exhibited at many trade shows which has helped provide her with an additional level of insight when it comes to the needs of Legacy clients. Outside the office Diane enjoys spending time with family and friends, preferably at the beach.

Sandy came to Legacy Logistics in 2004. She is not only one of our longest-tenured employees, but she is a former client of Legacy Logistics. She has over 28 years’ experience in the industry, 15 years working as a Show Service Manager at an Exhibit House and 13 years and counting working for Legacy Logistics as a Client Services Specialist. Sandy truly enjoys working with her customers and takes great pride in the personal touch she offers them. Sandy always has her clients’ best interest at heart and strongly believes that it is not only her duty to represent her clients to the best of her ability, but also to educate them throughout every step of the process with information and insight so that they can make the best decisions possible. Outside of work, Sandy enjoys cooking, traveling, the beach and spending time with family & friends, especially her 2 grandchildren.

Lisa recently joined the team at Legacy Logistics after a 20+ year career in education. She is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College and holds a Master’s degree from Gratz University. Lisa is excited for the challenge of a new career and is looking forward to growing her client base and working with customers. She is happy to be part of the Legacy team and looks forward to building relationships with her co-workers and clients. Lisa lives in the Greater Reading area with her husband, Will, and her two daughters, Alli and Jordan. She enjoys watching her daughters play sports and looks forward to her annual vacation at Bethany Beach.

Sue arrived at Legacy Logistics in early 2018, bringing with her 10+ years of experience in sales/customer service and 10+ years of experience in trade show management. Sue has a strong attention to detail and is always looking out for the best interests of her clients. Her background and work ethic has made her a perfect fit for the Legacy team.   Sue is a graduate of Kutztown University and holds a degree in Business Administration.  She lives in the Reading area with her husband and enjoys spending time with her family. Outside of work, she stays very busy with her grandchildren, attending sporting events and hosting sleepovers.  Sue also enjoys adventures with friends, the beach, traveling and visiting wineries.

Heather Lippincott recently joined the Legacy Logistics team as an Administrative Assistant. After 17 years in education, she was ready to expand her professional opportunities and learn the intricacies of a new industry. Heather has been a great addition to the Legacy team. She is dedicated to supporting the company’s vision and is focused on providing customers with a positive experience.   Heather resides in the Greater Reading area with her sons, Jevin and Jaden. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, fishing and visiting her beach home on the Eastern Shore in VA. Heather also spends a lot of time in the community volunteering locally and abroad.

With many years in the office field, Nahomi is eager to dedicate her knowledge and experience with Legacy Logistics. Nahomi has a degree in Business Management and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. Nahomi resides in the Greater Reading area. Outside of work, she is involved in her children’s sports organizations. Nahomi enjoys meeting new people and learning from them.

Jess Colon has worked at Legacy for several years and has over 15 years of previous customers service experience. As an Operations Coordinator, she is responsible for providing clients with peace of mind when it comes to shipping their freight. She works hand and hand with account managers to ensure every aspect of shipping is taken care of for our clients. Jess’s organizational skills and attention to detail are a few of the many valuable assets she brings to Legacy. Jess resides in the Greater Reading area and enjoys spending time with her family. She is an avid reader and one of her favorite pastimes is diving into a good book.

Kim Shultz

Kim is responsible for all accounting-related functions at Legacy Logistics, which includes over-seeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, cash management, collections, payroll, account reconciliation and financial reporting. Kim has worked for over 25 years in various fields of finance and accounting including banking, non-profit, manufacturing, and transportation. Her love of numbers, problem solving, and organizational skills led her on this career path. Kim enjoys volunteering in her community. She has served on the Finance Committee at her church for the past 3 years and was elected Treasurer for 2018. She has been the Secretary of the Institute of Management Accountants for the Reading, PA Chapter since 2016. Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, three grown children, and training her newly rescued 11-month old shepherd/hound mix, Mya. Her hobbies include hiking, cross country skiing, and participating in events to support local charities. Kim earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Alvernia University, graduating magna cum laude.

Amanda Carter

Amanda has been with Legacy since 2013. Through her experience in various roles in the company, she has learned how several departments function and their impact on each another. In March of 2017 she made the transition into Accounting and is very excited to learn more about her responsibilities. Her Associates Degree in Accounting brings a level of attention to detail and knowledge needed as the Accounting Assistant. Outside of work, Amanda is an avid reader. Her parents have been in the book industry for over 20 years which has fed into her love of reading. If she ever gets the chance to attend BookExpo America, she would feel like a teenage girl who just received Justin Bieber tickets.
